qI feel like Emily Noel stays all the way in her lane. She’s pretty PG like Tati, the difference being that she doesnt have to remind us of the fact every other video. Emily is generally real, which I appreciate. Her collab was years overdue and well deserved. I feel like Kiki (who idk, but i saw her “emergency review”) had a right to make her video. Tati’s response has shrouded the success of the Makeup Revolution collab with controversy.
Tati’s rebuttal was embarrassing. She’s a whole 36 years old coming for someone an entire generation younger than her. The fact that she went thru that girl’s channel and featured clips in her own video was beyond petty.
Tati fancies herself untouchable. She really thinks she’s better than everyone else in her community. Tati resents that young people found success so much quicker than she did hers. She’s mad that her mission isn’t respected. She’s mad she has to compete with people she doesn’t respect. Her clumsy acquiescence into participating in the current culture of Youtube is kind of sad tbh because it is at it’s core disingenuous. It is fascinating to witness tho… at least from the peripherary [I unsubbed from her after her Jeffree collab video and idc that he’s forgiven]. Ultimately if she wasnt so sanctimonious and arrogant, her argument in this case would be an easier one to stomach.
