Jlo had Tommy Mottola on her side and he was one of the most powerful men in music back in the 90s. He was gonna do what it took to make Jlo a star and that meant taking other artist’s music. Some of her most iconic songs (If You Had My Love, I’m Real Remix, & Get Right [the only ones really worthy of the award]) were all taken from other artist in a way so I don’t think it’s fair that she gets awarded. She simply doesn’t have the musical talent and isn’t worthy of a Vanguard award.
Yup, Used her to try to sabotage Mariah. None of those videos hold a candle to anything Missy or Janet have ever done. Period.
