Jane and I took courses at the Smithsonian castle because the Corcoran lacked lecture classes. We’d walk back to school (the museum on 17th) together. We joked about being tourists, so we took this pic on the ellipse with the white house in the background. I had to prop my camera on a trash can. Undergrad lasted the duration of Obama’s first term.
