i take my responsibility with the babies seriously. I operate on the idea that they will be men (because they identify as boys)… so I do everything in my power to teach them empathy and compassion and honesty. But I have to remember that they are children and that they deserve the freedom to explore life without the pressure of ending up different than every man that came before them. idk two of them are half white which encourages me to challenge them… but they’re babies!!! they don’t know and that’s my conflict.
